Spotlight on Dance

Presented by Pas de Vie Ballet at The Fallon Theatre

IMPORTANT: Due to storm damage, performances have moved to the Fallon Theatre on the FSU Campus. Date and times remain the same. A tradition 35 years old, the annual Spotlight on Dance displays Pas De Vie Ballet's stunning diversity and effortless talent. Working with pieces that range from classical staples to contemporary originals, artistic director Natalia Botha and ballet master Charles Hagan have created breath-taking choreography to be performed by their dancers.

Stained Glass Mosaic

Presented by LeMoyne Arts at LeMoyne Arts Education Center

A mosaic is a surface decoration made up of closely set, usually variously colored, small pieces of glass, tile, ceramic, or stone. In this class students will construct their own mosaic using a design of their choice. Everyone will learn to safely cut or break the glass then assemble pieces on a flat surface using glue and grout.

Constructing a Stepping Stone

Presented by LeMoyne Arts at LeMoyne Arts Education Center

Steppingstones for the yard or garden can be handmade and decorated with bits of glass, ceramic, or other objects. In this class, students will cast their own steppingstone out of mortar, then prepare a mosaic decoration for the surface and secure it with grout. Everyone will learn to safely cut or break the glass, mix mortar, and apply the grout.
