The Global Ambassador Program is a chance for international students, scholars, and faculty to spread awareness about their country and culture to schools and organizations throughout the Tallahassee community. The Center arranges speaking engagements in classrooms, with community organizations and in other settings at no charge. The FSU Center website includes an application form for participation in this program.
The FSU Museum of Fine Arts Department of Education is responsible for group tours, special projects, exhibition related resources, and volunteers. Their website offers information about all of these topics and has extension activities and educational packets that correlate to the exhibits.
The Gadsden Art Center website has information regarding their private visual art education programs and information for school groups and teachers. Featured educational programs are the docent program, exhibition tours, Bates Gallery exhibitions, and the Dean Mitchell Art Club.
Mission San Luis has many educational program featured on this website. They offer information on Guided Tours of the museum site, Living History Encounters and Extension San Luis. There is a section on pre- and post-visit materials including downloadable lesson plans and vocabulary words.
The Museum of Florida History and its historic sites, including the Knott House and the Florida State Old Capital offer quality educational programs for all ages. This website features information on school programs, outreach programs, and educational materials. It also has the teacher's corner where teachers can share curriculum and activities pertaining to Florida history with one another.
The Tallahassee Ballet website offers information on their educational programs and outreach. Included is information on DanceChance, Now Playing!,Joy of Motion Summer Camps, and Turning Point
History, nature and wildlife are all spun together at the Tallahassee Museum, telling a story about the culture and natural history of the Big Bend area of Florida. Their website outlines an educational program guide including their traveling trunks, programs for classes, and museum manners.

The Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) is a membership association dedicated to providing visual art educators in Florida with the knowledge, skills and support that will ensure the highest quality instruction possible to all students in Florida.
FATE was founded in 1979 by a group of International Thespian Society sponsors who accepted responsibility for developing a greater awareness of the performing arts in schools throughout the state of Florida. FATE was established to focus attention on theatre arts as an essential part of the curriculum and a component in the education of every young person.

American Alliance for Theatre and Education
American Alliance for Theatre and Education is a membership organization for theater professionals including theater educators. Membership benefits include access to theatrical resources for classrooms, curriculum, and students including new plays to consider for youth productions. Americans for the Arts
Americans for the Arts is a nonprofit membership organization for advancing the arts in America. Their website features information on policy, advocacy, new research, and professional development for educators. Membership provides access to publications, connects you with other professionals, and allows for the promotion of arts advocacy.
ARTSEDGE offers free, standards-based teaching materials for use in and out of the classroom, as well as professional development resources, student materials, and guidelines for arts-based instruction and assessment. Website includes a searchable database of lesson plans in visual art, music, dance, and theatre. Many lessons offer cross-curricular teaching opportunities in non-arts areas such as language arts, math, science, and social studies.
Best Colleges is a website dedicated to conducting data driven research about higher education in the United States. They've researched online master's in education degree programs, including those with an arts focus, and published an investigative review of the best online programs available. Dance Educators of America is a dance professionals' organization. Federal Resources for Educational Excellence
More than 1,500 federally supported teaching and learning resources are included from dozens of federal agencies. New sites are added regularly. Choose the subject area of your choice such as Arts and Music (theatre and film is contained in art and music) and FREE will take you to websites that include biographical information about particular artists, reproduction of artwork, sound recordings, videos, etc.
This website focuses on the visual arts in all of their dimensions, serving both general audiences and specialized professionals. The education page of this website offers resources for educators including professional development opportunities and a guide to building better lessons. National Association for Music Education
